A giveaway this week for my US and Canadian readers....from here.

... but not restricted to just that site.

All you have to do is leave a comment on any post this week and your name will go into the drawer for a $50 gift voucher to spend on whatever your heart desires.

I plan on drawing the name later in the week.

Come on, get commenting!

Attention! Attention!

I'm back again....still not 100% unfortunately, but at least I'm up and about.

I do have some good news though...

I've been offered a terrific "giveaway" by a company in the USA for all of my Canadian and US readers.

Unfortunately, they don't post to Australia...sorry 'bout that guys, but here we go...

Eileen at CSN Stores emailed me the other day, offering me a $50 gift voucher from one of their sites.... so, if you want a sofa or cookware, bakeware or luggage or just about anything for your home, then it's all there.
You can also check out their other sites here, here and here.

All you have to do is leave a comment on any post this week. It's that simple! Then at the end of next week, (4th June) I'll put the names into my special little Chinese urn and pull out the lucky prize winner.

Simple huh?

So, tell your friends and get them commenting too. The more the merrier I say

Have a great weekend everyone! I'll get some more photographs of our trip up soon...but I promise I won't bore you with dozens of the things.

Take care.

Where was I?

Oh yes.....

I'm feeling a lot better and am back on deck at work.

So I thought I'd post a couple of photos of our trip. These are from Washington and Mexico.

Mont and I loved Washington. It's a great place if you like Monuments and history and great buildings, and we do, especially when they're as good as these ones. I took the photo above from the NEWSEUM. The Newseum is one of the best places I've been. It's a private museum dedicated to news and journalism. Fabulous! We could've spent an entire week there. So much to see, so much to learn.

This is right next to the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue. It's a truly magnificent building.

...and this one...well it's down south in Mexico, but I can't remember if it's Cabos San Lucas or Zihuatanejo. I really should make notes of where and when the photos are taken shouldn't I?

This though is Acapulco, not far from where the cliff divers do their thing.

I'm back

...and what a wonderful trip we had!

Mexico, Vancouver, Boston, New York, Washington and then back to LA to come home.

It was a roller coaster ride and I came down with a rather nasty bug on our return, but what a trip!

I took these images in New York. The first is from the top of the Rockefeller Centre and the second is from the Empire State Building.
I'll give you all more details later on...for now though, it's great to be home and I can't wait to visit you all and see what you've all been up to.
